As a startup Charged have only just begun their digitalization journey, making this product a crucial step at this stage.

My primary responsibility in this project is to lead the design team, gather and assess requirements, and ensure the overall design quality. I also focus on translating workflows into seamless product flows, determining key features to be developed within tight schedules, and creating mockups to visualize the final product.

Additionally, I oversee the training and adaptation process, ensuring a smooth transition for users.

As the company continue to grow, the volume of data that administrative staff must handle increases significantly. Traditional manual documentation and processes are no longer sufficient, leading to errors and inefficiencies in daily operations.

Develop digital platform that enables seamless data collection and storage, along with an integrated system that streamlines data processing and tracking.

To meet the requirements, my team is developing multiple platforms under a Single Sign-On (SSO) system for seamless access across the headquarter and dealerships. These include a CRM for customer management, a DMS for dealer operations, and a FMS for fleet tracking—all planned for completion within five years.

Design Challenges

Challenge

Users accustomed to existing workflows often struggle to adapt to new systems, especially if they don’t see clear benefits to their daily operations, making them more likely to abandon the system.

Solution

We designed the product flow to mirror existing workflows while using familiar design elements. Additionally, we focused on features that directly impact daily operations to make sure users will use the system, such as automated document generation, error checking, and task automation, alongside improvements to the system's overall technological capabilities.

Adaptation & Next Iteration

Overall, users had no issues with the interface or user experience. Their main challenges were adapting to new tools and managing the data migration process. After six months, we gathered final feedback and additional requests, with most users reporting that the system improved efficiency, reduced workload, and enhanced data storage and integration compared to the previous system.
